A film of a one-off celebration event of the early music of Fleetwood Mac will be screened in cinemas across Cornwall and the rest of the UK in September.

The film features Mick Fleetwood and a notable cast of guest artists paying tribute to the music of Fleetwood Mac founding member, Peter Green, who passed last year.

Captured at The London Palladium in February 2020, and featuring an artist line-up curated by Mick Fleetwood, the film will be showing at the Phoenix Cinema in Falmouth on Tuesday September 7 and Sunday September 12.

Musical guests include Neil Finn (Crowded House), Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Jonny Lang, John Mayall, Christine McVie (Fleetwood Mac), Zak Starkey, Jeremy Spencer (Fleetwood Mac), Pete Townshend (The Who), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Rick Vito (Fleetwood Mac), and Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones).

The house band featured Mick Fleetwood himself along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, and Ricky Peterson.

The event will be screening in over 350 cinemas nationwide across two evenings only.

Peter Green was a founding member of Fleetwood Mac and had a huge impact on the band, as well as being recognised as one of the greatest musicians in the world.

Peter was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together with Fleetwood Mac in 1998.

Rolling Stone magazine rated Peter as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of all time.
