A town in Cornwall has been named as the best place in the UK for finding Michelin quality food.

New research from MoneyBeach.co.uk was conducted with the aim of proving once and for all, where you should head to for the best chance of finding high quality cuisine

The data involved analysing more than 100 locations globally to discover which have the highest number of restaurants included in the world-renowned Michelin Guide.

The results were then weighted against the total number of restaurants within the town or city to reveal where you have the best chance of finding an impressive dining experience.

St. Ives in Cornwall scooped first place, labelled as the culinary capital of the nation, with the likes of the eclectic Porthmeor Beach Café featuring in the Michelin Guide, known for its sustainably sourced seafood menu and exquisite glass terrace overlooking Porthminster Sands.
