The lineup has been announced for the St Ives Food and Drink Festival which will take place on Porthminster Beach from Friday September 17 until Sunday September 19.

Foodies and music lovers alike will have the chance to enjoy cooking demos from some of the region’s top chefs as well as sample music from Andy Quick, Freshly Squeezed, Cable Street Collective, Roustabouts, Bailey Tomkinson, Howlin’ Ric & The Rocketeers, Brother Sea, Off the Lights and more.

For those who are keen to hone their own cooking skills, St Ives Food and Drink Festival will have an exciting programme of chef’s demos at the asado fire pit stage featuring Andi Tuck, Kathy Slack, Emily Scott, Steven Lamb, Ross Geach, Jude Kereama and many more.

Following its usual format, daytime content including expert cookery demonstrations, an artisan food and drink market and music performances will be free. The festival regularly welcomes top celebrity chefs to the stage alongside homegrown Cornish talent and in 2019 included demonstrations from Aine Carlin, Jane Devonshire and Ben Tunnicliffe.

For 2021 there’ll be new daytime content harnessing the unique artistic heritage of St Ives, including a Raku fire pottery, Willow weaving and Foraging talks.

Lee Bater, Festival Director, said: “Around 25,000 people visited St Ives Food and Drink Festival in 2019 and, after a tough 18 months for everyone, we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the beach. We have redesigned the event and there will be plenty of space with both the demos and music stages being outdoors this year.”

The event is again being supported this year by Carbis Bay Holidays
