Stargazing in Cornwall Bodmin Moor named one of best in UK

With the Cornwall, and the UK in general, having some of the clearest skies in Europe stargazing has becoming increasingly popular over the last year.

Search terms such as ‘telescope for stargazing’ (+160%) and ‘stargazing pods’ (+110%) have seen an increase in the past 12 months, and holiday lettings company holidaycottages.co.uk has revealed the best places for stargazing in the UK.

Bodmin Moor has been revealed as one of the best places in Britain for people to see the night sky in a way that is just not possible in cities and other built-up areas.

Having been the first area of outstanding natural beauty to be designated as a 'Dark Sky Park,' Bodmin Moor offers visitors a view of the night sky that is almost impossible to achieve in areas where light pollution blocks out most of stars and planets that can be seen from earth.
