A serious accident which partially blocked the old A30 between Camborne Roseworthy Hill has now been cleared.

Inrix now reports: "Serious accident cleared, overturned vehicle removed, road cleared, traffic returned to normal."

Police were reported to be in attendance with local traffic between Camborne and Hayle affected.

A police spokesman said: "This is a two-vehicle RTC at Roseworthy Hill, Camborne.

"Reported at 2.15pm today [15 September].

"Van and Land Rover. Van ended up on its side. Ambulance called to check male driver. Minor injury only.

"Road has been closed at Connor Downs end."

A report by traffic monitoiring site Inrix said the road was partially blocked and there was slow traffic due to serious accident and overturned vehicle.

"Roseworthy Hill partially blocked, slow traffic due to serious accident near Old Mill Lane. Police are at the scene. Affecting local traffic between Camborne and Hayle."

BBC Travel South West reported the road was blocked in both directions: "Between Camborne and Roseworthy Dip we’ve got reports the old A30 is blocked in both directions due to an overturned car."
