A home builder believes he may have the solution to the housing crisis – an amazing tiny property built on wheels on sale for £50,000.
The unique property sits on a five-wheeled trailer with a wooden frame and metal exterior and has everything a regular home would.
Inside it has a fully-functioning bathroom, two bedrooms, fully-wired electrics, living room and kitchen.
Because it is mounted on a trailer it can be towed anywhere.
The ingenious property in Falmouth is on sale for £50,000, through Martin & Co.
Its creator believes homes such as this units like it could solve the housing crisis in the county.
Record numbers of people there are unable to afford to buy.
A description of the home online reads: "The Tiny House On Wheels is a locally made, unique and innovative housing solution.
"Built on top of a purpose built steel chassis for ease of transporting to its forever home, the Tiny House is ideal for additional guest accommodation, a den for teenagers, or even a work from home study!
"Popular with buyers looking for an additional Airbnb type income, the Tiny House On Wheels can be parked on private land (subject to local planning consents) and mains electrics and water hook up capability.
"The Tiny House has everything you need for comfortable day to day living, with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom.
"The Tiny House is both stylish and finished to a high specification and is to be sold complete with fixtures and fittings."
Electrician Chris Metcalf spent more than a year building the home, which is advertised on Rightmove.
He said: "I think it’s a really cool idea. There’s a shortage of properties in the South West at the moment.
''Families who might want extra accommodation, but don’t want to or can’t buy a bigger house or move home – this would be ideal.''
