A student living in Cornwall will be undertaking a fundraising walk, travelling 150 miles around the Cornish Coast.
Harry Speakman, a postgraduate student living in Falmouth, is starting a 150-mile solo charity fundraiser on October 4 for mental health charity Mind.
The walk's route will start in Falmouth and see Harry travel around the Cornish coastline, camping as he goes, eventually ending up in Newquay.
The money raised will go towards the charitable work of Mind, which helps people who are experiencing mental health problems by providing advice and support.
Harry says his motivation for wanting to do the fundraiser was due to the 'frightening' statistics surrounding mental health and, closer to home, because he had known people who had relied upon the help these services provide.
Harry told The Packet: "The information that they distribute can be life-changing for those people who access the service.
"That's one of the main motivations behind it really.
"I'm usually a runner, so I've been increasing my distances and duration.

So far, Harry's fundraiser has raised over £400 and has a rolling target which Harry will update as he goes.
Harry continued: "I'm looking to hopefully see the amount of money raised at the end of it and try and break it down into figures as to how it can help.
"The response has been great, it's had 111 shares so far and about £425 has been raised so far.
"I haven't even started yet, so I'm planning on doing daily updates and shares.
"Every time the goal is hit, I'm thinking of increasing it, maybe by £45, so it's a rolling target.
"Just a massive thank you for donating and recognising the issues that we're facing and trying to support a charity that's also trying to deal with the reality of that.
"Anyone who's not in a position to donate, if they could share the page that would be equally appreciated."
