Penryn Autumn Festival - Flower, produce and Craft Show returned on September 25 2021 after it was cancelled last year due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The show which is organised and run by Penryn Women’s Institute on behalf of Penryn Town Council was held in the Temperance Hall, Penryn and attracted entries for classes in Vegetables and Fruit, Flowers and Floral Art, Baking and Preserves, Crafts and Photography and a Children’s section.

Judges Alec Dale, Louvain Herbert, Jo Kennedy, Rose Webber, Victor Tullin and Jane Bodle, were all reportedly impressed by the high standard of entries.

Best in Show awards were presented by the Deputy Mayor, Mary May.

Penryn WI President, Debbie Herbert said: "Despite our initial concerns on how well the event would be supported this year, we were delighted to receive 120 entries.

"A big thank you must go to WI members who worked hard to make the day such a great success, all the helpers on the day and the staff at Penryn Town Council."
