Lovers of rock and punk music working for the NHS were in for a treat last month, when IDLES shared the news that Tickets for Good would provide tickets for their headline show at Eden Sessions in Cornwall to NHS workers at no face value cost.

Delighted fans rushed to the Tickets for Good platform, which acquires tickets for the UK’s biggest live events on behalf of NHS workers and distributes them for a small booking fee - instead of the usual high-value ticket prices.

Fans who managed to secure tickets shared their gratitude on social media, with one fan claiming "This is why IDLES are the best band about," and another simply commenting, "Absolute legends." Attendees who secured a spot via Tickets For Good also expressed their thanks after the event.

One said: "Really appreciated the offer we got for tickets, my partner is a huge fan of IDLES and works on the frontline for the NHS, so for us to be able to do this and not worry about it being a scam or have any catch in the offer was fantastic - thank you!"

The atmosphere of the Eden Sessions one-off gig was electric, with plenty of praise for the venue’s top-notch organisation.

According to one attendee, there were "plenty of loos...quick queueing at the bars and friendly staff. That night out meant a lot to me."

It’s a reminder that regional venues, especially those far from traditional event hubs like London, have a lot to offer audiences that often goes unnoticed.

One attendee commented "More events in Cornwall please!", suggesting that communities nationwide can benefit from collaborations with Tickets For Good.

The team hopes that similar high-profile partnerships will bring many more great benefits for key workers across the UK.

John Empson, the Eden Sessions promoter who reached out to Tickets for Good when IDLES expressed their desire to invite NHS staff for free, said: "The service was impeccable and we delivered an allocation of tickets to the NHS seamlessly.

"We are looking forward to working with Tickets for Good again in the future."
