HOTELS and guest house owners in Falmouth are being asked for help in finding two robbers after a man was grabbed by his neck and his watch stolen.

The man was attacked in the Market Street/Church Street area of Falmouth today (October 14) at around 3.45am.

The police are appealing for witnesses and have asked if 'accommodation providers' can check to see if males of similar description to the robbers have been staying or have stayed with them.

They are also asking for any taxi drivers who picked up two men of a similar description to come forward.

The suspects are believed to be in their twenties.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with a report of robbery which took place in the Market Street/Church Street area of Falmouth at approximately 3.45am on Thursday October 14 2021.

"It is reported that a male was grabbed by the neck and had his watch stolen.

"The suspects are two males, one male is described as black, in his 20s, six feet two inches in height, medium build, wearing white/grey clothing.

"The other male is described as of Asian appearance, in his 20s, five feet six inches in height, slim build, short hair, wearing a black and orange top.

"Please can accommodation providers check to see if males of similar description are staying/or have stayed with you.

"We ask for any taxi drivers who may have taken a fare from males of this description to make contact, also anyone with information, or with CCTV in the area mentioned is asked to phone 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting log 97 14 October 2021.
