Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision near Camborne on Saturday [16 October] which left a man with life-threatening injuries.
Officers were called around 6.55pm after the collision between a beige Toyota Yaris and a white Nissan Elgrand on the A30 at Roseworthy.
The driver of the Toyota, a man in his 40s from the Helston area, sustained life-threatening injuries. He remains in Derriford Hospital in a critical condition.
The other driver, a man in his 60s from the Penwith area, received minor injuries.
Local officers as well as officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious Collision Investigation Team attended.
The A30 was closed while a specialist examination of the scene took place and the vehicles were recovered.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and appealing for any witnesses to contact them. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
