THE former owner of Castle Beach Cafe has handed over the keys to her successor and has shared her favourite memories in pictures.

Fiona Crump has run the cafe for the past two years but has now passed over the lease to her former employee Emily Davidson.

Falmouth Packet:

Emily Davidson, right, will be taking over from Fiona Crump

The cafe is now closed for the winter, and the pair spent the last day cleaning down and packing everything away and I have handed my keys over to her.

Posting on the cafe's Facebook page Fiona wrote: "I am now back home reflecting on the wonderful time I have had at Castle Beach.

"I thought I would share some of my favourite memories with you in the form of photos.

"I feel immensely privileged to have met (and worked with) so many very lovely people - what a wonderful community this is.

"My house is full of cards and flowers, I have more chocolate than one person can eat (although I’ll give it my best shot), and I am feeling so much love.

"Thank you to each and every one of you. You have made me laugh and on occasions you have made me cry. I have watched your bumps turn into babies and watched your babies learn to walk. We have supported rock poolers and writers, photographers and families.

"We’ve served one or two celebrities (although we kept that quiet - everyone is entitled to a little peace).
