There was drama off the pitch as well as on it as a mascot took a comical tumble during Falmouth Town's 5-2 victory over Wendron.
It may seem unusual to many but the sight of lifesize Pokemon character 'Pikachu' parading around Bickland Park is a regular occurrence at Falmouth Town.
However midway through the first half the mascot swapped parading for slipping as they provided one of the moments of the match.

Standing at the opposite end of the pitch to most of the fans, the mascot had already given the home fans a much demanded wave.
This was followed by chants of "Nice one Pikachu, nice one son. Nice one Pikachu lets have another one!"
Playing up to the crowd, the luminous yellow character, who clearly isn't afraid to shy away from the limelight, gave the fans another wave but this time got more than it bargained for.
In a video you can see the Pokemon plunder down the steep bank toward the playing surface, much to the hilarity of many of the fans inside Bickland Park.
Whether it was the slippy surface or the blustery breeze Pikachu was soon captured was rolling sideways along the grass.
Thankfully, after a dusting down, the mascot was okay to pick themselves back up and laugh off the blunder which had the home end in hysteria.
