Maenporth Road which connects Falmouth to Maenporth will be closed during the day for a week.
The closure will allow for essential resurfacing works that need to take place on the route.
Starting on Tuesday, November 16 the road will be closed until Tuesday, November 23.
The road will be shut from 7:30am until 5pm, and will stay open for emergency vehicles only.
The council ask in order to prevent delays that members of the public do not park on or obstruct the affected area during working hours.
All traffic that is affected by the temporary closure is advised to follow the diversion that will be in place. Drivers are also advised to allow extra time for their journey.
Marshals will be on hand to provide support and access to businesses and residents who live in the area.
