Friends of a woman who had been missing from Penryn have issued an update this morning saying they still need the public's help.

Kalisha Coggin was reported missing yesterday, having last been seen leaving Chandler Park, Penryn at 12.45pm on Tuesday.

Her family issued an urgent appeal on Facebook in the evening, to help find Kalisha, who was described as wearing blue jeans and a blue and white striped top, and carrying a large black handbag.

This morning an update has been issued on Facebook to say that Kalisha had been found, at around 9.30am, but that her family still needed people's helping in looking out for her, as she was "running off."

On the Falmouth,Penryn And Surrounding Areas Community Information page, the update, posted at 10am, reads: "An update, Kalisha has been found, approximately half an hour ago.

"However, we still need your help! She is running off. If you see her do not approach her please call police on 101 with the location she was seen."

People were also asked to respect the family's wish to not be contacted directly.

"They are all incredibly grateful for the help of all you, and thank you for your support, comments shares etc.

"Thank you to everyone for what you have done. You're all amazing. What a beautiful community we have. Let's keep helping."
