There are two incidents ongoing on the A30 this morning (Saturday) resulting in lane closures in Cornwall.

It means motorists planning to make a journey through Cornwall today, or in either of the affected areas, should be aware of some potential disruption.

The first is on the stretch of dual carriageway at Fraddon, where one lane is closed due to an accident.

A lorry has left the carriageway on the A30 heading westbound, between the junction with the A39 (Indian Queens, Fraddon) and the A3058 Chapel Town / Summercourt western turn off.

Lane one of two is closed, with traffic monitoring system INRIX reporting that traffic is coping well.

The second incident is further up the county, at Millpool.

Here is also one lane closed, with traffic reported to be slow earlier due to an accident and resulting recovery work.

Three vehicles, including a lorry, were involved in the collision on the A30 heading eastbound, after Preeze Cross.

Lane two of two is closed, affecting traffic heading from Bodmin towards Launceston.

The road was blocked earlier, but police have since reopened one of the carriageways.
