Senior Auction Appraiser David Henwood said: “Half Moon House is an imposing character property offering sizeable and flexible accommodation in a tranquil village setting.

“It would make an attractive family home after some modernisation although some may wish to consider schemes to create multiple residential properties, subject to the necessary consents.

“The land is available separately and clearly has potential for a number uses, including residential development subject to the necessary consents.

“We expect keen interest in both the house and the land from various parties although clearly some may wish to acquire both.”

The house and land are being auctioned jointly with Bill Bannister estate agents of Redruth.
