Activists in and around Cornwall will be hosting a series of events to outline the importance action on climate change.

People from Cornwall have been at the heart of some of the world’s most innovative climate campaigning, including Extinction Rebellion and Insulate Britain.

The talks are free to attend, open to all and have been organised by Sarah, 56, a keyworker.

Sarah said: "I am excited that we can host these talks because watching politicians talk blah blah blah whilst our house is on fire is beyond depressing.

"These talks, by some of Britain's bravest will be a breath of fresh air.

"Whilst many people in Cornwall are now acutely aware of the need for urgent action on what scientists say is the greatest threat we have ever faced, most of us don’t know what we can do about it. "This no holds barred talk will not only tell the truth about how serious and urgent things are, it will also spell out clearly what each of us can do."
