Fire crews have said they will be conducting a fire investigation after being called out to a property fire last night.
Appliances from Tolvaddon, Hayle, Perranporth, Falmouth were in attendance at the scene of the blaze last night as well as an aerial ladder platform from Truro.
The fire is thought to have affected the loft of the property on Cardrew Terrace in Redruth and no casualties were reported.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire after which one appliance from Hayle Community Fire and Rescue Service stayed behind to monitor hot spots.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said at the time: "At this time the Fire Service is in attendance at a make pumps six residential property fire.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service went on to update the situation at around 4am, saying: "One appliance is remaining on damping down and monitoring for hot spots using a thermal imaging camera.
"A Fire Investigation will be completed in daylight hours to determine the cause of the blaze."
In an update on its social media page, a spokesperson for Hayle Emergency Services Community Station said: "Hayle crew responded to 6 pump residential fire in Redruth.
"Breathing apparatus team from @TolvaddonCFRS knocked back loft fire, Hayle team committed to look for hot spots.
"Thankfully no casualties."
