An animal sanctuary in Cornwall is looking for new recruits to join its new squad.

THE Cornish Seal Sanctuary has said it is excited to announce the launch of its new SOS Squad.

The charity says it is calling on all Sea Life Trust supporters to Support Our Sanctuaries and become a part of the new squad.

In an announcement posted on its social media page yesterday (Nov 30), a spokesperson for The Cornish Seal Sanctuary said: "We are so excited to finally announce our brand new S.O.S Squad!

"We are calling on all SEA LIFE Trust supporters to Support Our Sanctuaries and become a part of our new squad.

“You can support our rescue, rehabilitation and release work by giving each month and becoming a squad member.

“By joining, you will receive exclusive email updates through out the year to show how your donation is supporting our sanctuaries - including animal rescues, rehabilitation progress and sneak peaks into the work of our animal care team.
