This winter, the Watergate Bay Hotel is embarking on a partnership with No. 1 Cubs speciality coffee to open a new co-working space on the ground floor of its team HQ at The Hangar, located at the Aerohub outside Newquay.

The Hangar coworking space will host remote workers, freelancers, start-ups, small businesses and professionals on the move – or those just wanting to make the most of an occasional meeting space. The hotel's vision is for the space to become a catalyst for creativity and collaboration, allowing members to spark new connections, share skills and savour good coffee.

Run by No.1 Cubs, a speciality coffee and clothing business serving Origin Coffee, the ground floor café at The Hangar sees baristas serving up hot drinks alongside homemade cakes and pastries, sourdough toasties and smoothie bowls.

Says No.1 Cubs Coffee co-founder Matt Butler: "The Hangar is a really beautiful space and we’re excited to see the community here grow as the coworking takes off.

"Coffee fuels creativity and sharp thinking – and so many business ventures and collaborations start with conversations over coffee.
