A group of staff from a pub in St Agnes have raised over £500 for the men’s health awareness charity Movember.

Team members from The Peterville Inn 'braved the shave' at the end of October before being allocated 'celebrity mo’s’ to grow throughout the month of November.

They also generously donated their cash tips throughout the month as well as asking regulars and friends of The Peterville Inn to contribute, while keeping everyone updated on their grow progress via social media.

Famous moustaches they worked to emulate included Hulk Hogan, Wolverine and Brad Pitt organisers describing some attempts as 'successful.'

With the total raised standing at £250 at the end of a month of fundraising, the pub’s owners then matched the total bringing the team to their £500 target.

Lara Trubshaw, who runs the pub with her husband Tom, said: "I couldn’t be prouder of all of the guys who took part.

"They put in so much effort into growing their new looks - some sacrificing their dignity along the way!

"We have a really strong team here at The Peterville Inn and this effort just proves again to us what a brilliant bunch they all all, we’re lucky to have them."
