A Cornish company that specialises in making CBD oil has announced a partnership with chronic pain warrior and adventurer Gail Muller.

EthicaCBD has joined forces with Gail Muller with the aim of educating the public about the effects of CBD.

In her new role as official brand ambassador, Gail will be working closely with the company to further their joint vision around locally-made, ethical CBD products, as well as sharing her own personal experiences as a chronic pain sufferer using CBD oil.

At the age of 15, Gail Muller was told that she would be in a wheelchair by the age of 40.

She had been suffering from muscular-skeletal issues which resulted in deep relentless pain, to which there was no remedy.

Despite this, Gail spent the first few years following her diagnosis fit and well but, in her early twenties the debilitating pain truly began and chronic illness took the next 15 years of her life.

The mental and physical struggle she faced as a result of her condition nearly destroyed her.

However, this tenacious individual never gave up hope and Gail searched the world for different diagnoses and cures.

At the age of 41, Gail hiked for six months along one of the world’s toughest treks, The Appalachian Trail – a 2,200-mile journey through the wilds of America that helped her to heal her mind and body.

Gail says: "In the last year I’ve found CBD oils which have had profoundly positive effects on my body and mind.

"They help me sleep, calm my anxiety and absolutely help to ease the pain sensations I feel when my body is flaring up or inflammation is limiting my movements.

"EthicaCBD really researches their products and are passionate about making a difference in the world."

Originating around core values of ethical practice, sustainability and being a force for good, the founders of EthicaCBD are delighted to have such a dynamic and formidable woman as Gail on board.

Co-founder Ruarri Spurgeon says: "Our company ethos is to be honest, transparent and accountable in all we do, and we believe that working with an inspirational woman like Gail will prove beneficial for all.

"The aim of the partnership is to help those who need it to find some enlightenment and respite."
