Staff at a care home in Falmouth have been busy this festive season fulfilling the Christmas wishes of residents.
Members of staff at Langholme Care Home in Falmouth were told by some of their residents that they wished for a white Christmas and, thanks to the hard work of carers, had their wish granted.
Residents were treated to a Christmas to remember after staff arranged for a snow machine to be brought in for residents to enjoy while being serenaded by their music therapist, James.
Kate Bateson, administration manager at Langholm, said: "We've got a wonderful new activities coordinator and she said 'do you think we could get a snow machine?' so we looked into it.
"We found one and everyone just reverted to being kids again, it's such a lot of fun
"How lucky that some people have actually managed to have a white Christmas.
"Let's face it, it's pretty rubbish times at the moment,a lot of our residents aren't able to see many of their families, they can't come down and then there's the restrictions and everything.
"If we can bring a bit of joy into our resident's lives then we will make snow if we have to."
