In an update on its social media page, a spokesperson for Truro Lions Club said: A big big thank you to all who visited us and very generously entered our draws.

"Many thanks again to Waitrose and Tesco who generously donated significant amounts of goodies for the Hampers and Roach Fine Foods who jointly funded with us 2 x £30 Meat Vouchers.

"Also to the Shopowners and Shops who looked after us at both Markets and last but not least to our Lions and Partners who were on duty at the Markets selling numbers marvellously!"
