Police are appealing for information about a 22-year-old woman who has gone missing in the Newquay area.

Jasmine Doughty was last seen leaving her home address in the town at around 9am on Monday, January 3.

Jasmine is described as a white , stocky build, approx 5''6 in height with mousey blonde colour hair.

She was last seen wearing a bright green bomber style jacket, black leggings, black adidas T-shirt and black and white striped adidas trainers.

In a statement the police say if anyone sees Jasmine they should contact them immediately.

"Police are concerned for the welfare of Jasmine Doughty aged 22 from the Newquay area. Jasmine was last seen leaving her home address around 9am on Monday, January 3.

"Jasmine is described as a white female, stocky build, approx 5''6 in height, aged 22, with mousey blonde colour hair, she was last seen wearing a bright green bomber style jacket, black leggings, black adidas T-shirt and black and white striped adidas trainers.

"Police are appealing for any information which may lead to here whereabouts. Please report any sightings or relevant information on 999 quoting log 169 03/01/2022."
