TAKING stock is going to take on a whole new meaning for two Tesco store managers when they raise money for a children's charity this month.

Dom Olds and Andrew K J Magor from the supermarket chain's Camborne store have been chosen by colleagues to be placed in actual wooden stocks on Tuesday January 18.

The elected pair will be raising money Children's Hospice South West and are inviting members of the public to come along to see them get their "just deserts".

Store Manager Natalie Levett said "We are proud and privileged to support this worthwhile cause and welcome customers to come to the store on Tuesday 18 at approx 4.30pm to take part and have some fun sadly at the expense of these two sporting colleagues,"

Anita Coleman the new store community champion added: "We are grateful to John Pascoe from Pascoes property services for making these stocks so that this fundraising event can take place. We have several events planned subject to covid restrictions in 2022 and we keep you posted on upcoming events".
