A walk-in Covid vaccine clinic will be setting up in Falmouth Town Centre this weekend - the first since November.

The clinic in the Atherton Suite on The Moor on Sunday, January 9 is a collaboration between Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID in collaboration with Reeds Pharmacy and NHS England.

The Covid vaccine clinic is open between 9am – 2pm for people to receive their first, second or booster vaccine.

It is hoped that this will be the first of more frequent clinics for Falmouth after councillors complained tjhe town was being ignored.

In a post on Facebook, Falmouth Town Council said: "Come along to The Atherton Suite to receive your first, second or booster vaccine. Going forward, the clinics will be running more frequently in Falmouth with dates and times to be announced next week and beyond. Stay tuned for updates.

Three 'pop-up' clinics were held in Falmouth in November, two in the council's Atherton Suite on The Moor, but these were one-off clinics and not a regular facility.
