More dates have been added in the coming week for a walk-in Covid vaccine clinic in Falmouth town centre.

Originally, there had been just one clinic planned in the Atherton Suite on The Moor on Sunday, January 9 between 9am-2pm.

However, on Friday January 7, it was announced that more dates will be available from Tuesday, January 11.

The walk-in clinic is a joint effort between Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID in collaboration with Reeds Pharmacy and NHS England.

The full list of dates are as follows:

Tues 11 Jan 9am-2pm

Weds 12 Jan 9am-2pm

Sat 15 Jan 9am-2pm

Sun 16 Jan 9am-2pm

These dates are for pre-booked and walk-ins which will be the case going forwards.

Falmouth Town Manager Richard Gates said: "I would like to thank Town Council & BID staff and Cllrs as well as the Reeds Pharmacy team and NHS England in all working together to make this happen, it has taken a huge amount of work."

All eligible people aged 18 or over can now make an appointment to get their booster jab at one of thousands of vaccination centres across the country.

NHS colleagues are prioritising booked jabs so the best way to get your booster is to make an appointment.
