Another exciting weekend of South West Peninsula League West action awaits as seven games kick off at 3 pm on Saturday afternoon.

One of the most enticing matches is at Bickland Park where unbeaten league leaders Falmouth Town host St Blazey in what is the first meeting between the sides this season.

Winning all their games this season Falmouth have the maximum tally of 60 so far, with a 17 point lead at the top of the division. Blazey though are a side on the up as they currently sit fifth in the league table.

More impressively is their clinical nature in front of goal of late, they have scored five or more in their last two games. Liam Eddy is their most regular scorer with 14 goals to his name so far this season.

There is set to be a bumper crowd at Bickland Park for the game, with St Blazey bringing three supporters coaches down on top of Falmouth's F Troop.

Penryn Athletic are back at Kernick Road for the visit of second-placed Liskeard Athletic. It is a daunting task for Athletic who have lost both games since former Manager Harry Pope departed including a resounding 7-0 loss to Callington Town last weekend.

Penryn will be boosted by two new additions with Finn Robinson joining from nearby rivals Wendron United and Matt Laithwaite coming in from Penzance. Penryn are 11th in the table in what is their first season back in the South West Peninsula League.

Elsewhere Wendron United who are fourth in the table make the trip to the north coast to take on Wadebridge Town at Bodieve Park. If Wendron win and results elsewhere work in their favour Wendron will go to second in the league table.

Other fixtures see Bodmin Town host St Dennis who are yet to claim a victory this season. Callington Town could make it ten games without defeat should they avoid losing to St Austell. Their meteoric rise has seen the Marshfield Parc side fly to tenth in the table a win could take them as high as eighth. Sticker host Camelford meanwhile Godolphin play their fourth away game in a row when they travel to Penzance.
