A popular food and drink festival taking place in a coastal town in Cornwall has announced its line-up of chef demonstrations.
St Ives Food and Drink Festival, which takes place from May 13 to 15, has just announced a jam-packed line-up of chef demos featuring many of Cornwall’s top restaurateurs including Jack Stein, Emily Scott, Simon Stallard, Adam Handling, Jude Kereama, Jackson Bristow and Andrew Tuck.
This year’s line-up also features veg growing guru Kathy Slack, BBQ master Chris ‘Chops’ Taylor, Ross Geach from Padstow Kitchen Garden and former professional rugby player, and founder of the Philleigh Way cookery school, Rupert Cooper.
All of these chefs, and many more, will be cooking up a storm on the festival’s huge Asado Fire Pit sponsored by St Austell Brewery.

On show will be a range of techniques, cooking seafood, meat, and vegetables over fire, using the fire pit, hanging frame, grills, chapas, and an asado cross.
Country Fire Kitchen will be supplying the kit and cooking alongside other expert chefs over the weekend.
Jack Stein said: "I am delighted to be working with St Austell Brewery and cooking food to pair with their award-winning beers at St Ives Food Festival.
"Having grown up in Cornwall, it’s exciting to continue a long-standing partnership with one of the most successful and well-known brewers in the county."
Taking place on Porthminster beach, St. Ives Food and Drink Festival is free to attend during the day with a packed programme of chef demos and a food market to enjoy.
In the evening, the party starts, with a selection of Cornwall’s favourite foot-stomping bands taking to the stage.
Tickets for the music Evening Sessions start at just £8.
