Devon and Cornwall Police have thanked the public after a 56-year old man who was wanted on recall to prison has been found.
David Collier, who was also known as as Joshua Johnson or David Johnson was located on Sunday, April 3 by police after being sought on recall to prison after having had his license revoked.
He was originally convicted of murder and had links to the Truro, Camborne, London and Essex areas.
The Packet had previously reported on Thursday, March 24 that numerous enquiries were made by police to locate and arrest Collier and that the force had previously appealed to the public to report any sightings of him.
A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police on Monday, April 4 said: "A 56-year-old man who was wanted on recall to prison has been located by police.
"David Collier was located on Sunday 3 April.
"Officers would like to thank the public for assisting with this appeal."
