The event in aid of The International Committee of The Red Cross will take place at The Princess Pavilion, Falmouth on Easter Saturday, April 16.

Organised by The Cottage Co-operative based on Pendennis Headland, the day will begin with a Children's Fundraiser from 12-4pm, with many activities including face-painting; Easter-egg hunting; live music and disco; Swamp Circus Workshop, slack-lining workshop, bouncy castles, flag-making, sunflower art and planting and much else.

This will be followed by an evening event from 6-30pm -11pm in three areas, featuring The Roustabouts, Julian Gaskell & HRTP, Pressure Roots HI-FI, The Disappointments, Sienna Holihan, No-Set Sound System and many others.

"Many thanks to Falmouth Town Council for providing the Princess Pavilion at no charge for the fund-raising day, in order to maximise our communal donation to ICRC' ; said co-organiser Jef Smith from The Cottage. "Thanks also to the Pavilion events team; who are also donating their time and skills at no cost to assist the event.

"We are heartened by the response of people across the Country to assist Ukrainian refugees' added co-organiser Megan Middleton; 'We hope that this kindness and the urgent need to address the desperate situation of Ukrainian refugees will lead to a wider understanding of the ongoing refugee crisis globally."

Jef added: 'We are looking forward to what will be a very positive day in response from our community to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine'.
