A cult folk legend will be heading to Cornwall next month for two performances as part of his latest UK tour.

Festival veteran Beans on Toast will be performing two dates in Cornwall as part of his run of spring and bank holiday 2021 shows.

Beans On Toast, real name Jay McAllister, will be performing at The Watering Hole, Perranporth on the May 26 and The Cornish Bank in Falmouth on the May 27.

Travelling throughout May and June, the artist will bring his unique brand of quick-wit lyricism and mellow acoustic melodies across the nation.

Beans on Toast writes simple songs about complicated subjects and never fails to celebrate the beauty of human existence.

Drawing from his huge and much loved back catalogue, his live shows are both inspiring and entertaining, a relaxed and fun affair that leaves you feeling like you've met up with an old friend, and you're all the better for it.

Beans’ latest tour arrives hot on the heels of his recent full-band shows in support of his acclaimed 2021 album ‘Survival of the Friendliest’ earlier this year.

Produced by Blaine Harrison of Mystery Jets and recorded at Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate, ‘Survival of the Friendliest’ is a record all about hope, positivity and camaraderie, that finds an artist celebrating the very best of human nature.

It featured recent singles: “Humans”, “Not Everybody Thinks We're Doomed” and “A Beautiful Place”.
