Truro's Hall for Cornwall will see the iconic Blood Brothers musical by Willy Russell gracing the stage next week.
Affectionately dubbed the ‘Standing Ovation Musical,’ this multi-award-winning production wins the hearts of its audience thanks to its captivating tale and superior score.
The story is a contemporary version of the traditional 'nature versus nurture' plot, revolving around twins Mickey and Eddie, who were separated at birth.
One was then raised in a wealthy family, the other in a poor family.
The gripping storyline regales the trials and tribulations of growing up in opposite worlds, only for fate to bring the brothers together again.
It’s a poignant time for the show’s cast too. Sean Jones, who plays the role of Mickey, will be saying farewell to the role after performing in the show for more than 20 years. Joel Benedict who plays Mickey's twin brother, Eddie, is also a longstanding showrunner.
Blood Brothers is at the Hall for Cornwall from Tuesday, April 26 to Saturday April 30, with tickets available for purchase now.
Matinees will take place on the Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
