This week's collection of Step Back in Time features photos of Falmouth and the local community from late 1976 and early into 1977.
The pictures have kindly been provided by the Falmouth History Archive at the Poly in Falmouth.
Amongst the images we see a few brave swimmers tackle the cold waters of Gyllyngvase Beach. The swimmers are being watched on by watched by former lifeboat coxswain and well-known Falmouth boatman and fisherman, the late Toby West.
There is also a well attended Christmas dinner for the elderly at the Park Grove Hotel and the Round Table Carol singers and their sleigh.
