Bango Kitchen restaurant in Penryn to reopen for indoor eating

Bango Kitchen in Penryn has remarkably been open longer as a takeaway than it has a restaurant due to the global pandemic but on Wednesday, May 18 it will return to normality for customers to enter and eat inside.

The kitchen, which has recently won gold awards in the Casual Dining Categories at both the Cornwall and The South West Tourism Awards, will operate from Tuesday to Friday 11am - 3pm and Saturdays 11am - 8pm for their full menu.

They also provide coffee and pastries available from 7am each day they are open.

Remarking on the reopening owners Nick Archer and Howard Sellers said: "The time is now right for us to reopen, we have built a great team and feel confident we can maintain the takeaway side of things while bringing Bango Kitchen back to life as the buzzy, vibrant and delicious Pan Asian Kitchen we always wanted it to be! The whole team is beyond excited!"

There will also be an opportunity to try out the restaurant's very own gin which they have spent nine months working on with the Black & Gold Organic Gin Distillery in Ponsanooth. Bango Kitchen Organic Gin is for sale by the glass or by the bottle and creators say they 'couldn't be prouder' with the finished product.

Upon arrival at the restaurant foodies will take a seat and order from the Bango Kitchen App which is available on the app store, or use the QR code on the table to place an order for food which will be brought out by the chefs straight to the table.

Bookings are not taken at the restaurant, therefore tables are allocated at a first come, first serve basis.The restaurant say they hope to bring to life all the plans and ambitions they have shelved for the past two years, they want to extend our opening hours, host gigs, art exhibitions, feast nights, brunch clubs and much much more.
