Keeping the kids occupied during half-term is tough enough, but even more so when the weather doesn’t play ball.

To make planning the holidays a little less unpredictable, we’ve turned to the Met Office for their meteorological forecast for this week.

Half-term weather forecast for Falmouth

Umbrellas at the ready. After a chilly night, the Met Office predicts Monday is likely to be another rather cloudy day with showers – some of which will be heavy.

Even with the odd bright or even sunny spell here and there, it will be feeling cooler once again with light winds and maximum temperatures of 15 °C.

There are further showers for the start of Tuesday, but the day is due to brighten up into sunshine later on and the picture looks much improved heading into the rest of the week.

Wednesday is expected to start off fine but cloud over during the late morning and early afternoon, before clearing for the evening, Thursday is predicted to be a mix of sunshine and scattered clouds, while Friday and Saturday are forecast to be the best of the days with near wall-to-wall sunshine. Sunday will also be sunny, but possibly cloud over in the afternoon.

You can look forward to it being mostly dry with sunny spells and at times broad sunshine, with temperatures slowly increasing throughout the week to around 17 or 18 °C for the Jubilee bank holiday.
