A CHILDREN’S ethical clothing designer Frugi has teamed up with creative hub Falmouth University who are the hosting the brand’s location for their Back to School outerwear range in the Autumn/Winter '22 collection.

Frugi, which means fruits of the earth in Latin, is a Helston-based sustainable children’s clothing and accessories company who say they have a mission to love the planet we play on.

About half of Frugi’s current creative team consist of Falmouth University photography alumni who have returned to their roots for Frugi’s Autumn campaign.

The company have opted to base their entire shoot at Falmouth's striking Fox Gardens – a location renowned for its tropical plants, lush gardens, and whimsical pathways.

Falmouth University BA Fashion Photography students Sinead Flanagan and Gee Frye were invited to assist on the shoot to experience a commercial shoot environment through Falmouth lecturer and mentor Jonathan Simms, a tutor for one of Frugi’s photography team.

"Not only was Falmouth's Fox Gardens an ideal location to shoot our next collection but it was fantastic for some of our photography team to return to the place where they learned their craft.

"Cornwall is home to a wonderfully entrepreneurial and creative community, and it is a privilege for Frugi be a part of it."

In June 2019, Falmouth University declared a climate and ecological emergency.
