A collision involving a car and a motorbike has taken place near Helston on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred on the B3297 near Wheal Dream at around 3pm.
The collision involved a car and a motorcyclist and Police have confirmed that the Cornwall Air Ambulance landed at the scene to assist the injured motorcylist.
The road has been partially closed and drivers should allow extra time for their journey if in the area.
A number of people are using back roads, including Rowe's Lane
A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were notified at around 3pm to reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a car on the B3297, Helston.
"The Air Ambulance has landed to assist with the injured motorcyclist who will be taken to hospital.
"The road has been partially closed."
Traffic monitoring system INRIX has yet to update with information regarding the current road situation.
