Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they have found a man safe from Falmouth previously reported as missing.

Jacob Kendall, 24 was reported as missing on Thursday, June 16.

He had last been seen on Killigrew Street in the early hours of the morning wearing square rectangle glasses and a blue hoodie with a pattern on it as well as blue jeans, a red checked shirt underneath the hoodie and is wearing black work boots carrying a small camouflage backpack.

At the time Police appealed to the public to contact the police immediately if they had seen him or knew of his whereabouts.

But a statement from the force confirmed that the man had been found on Friday morning, and Police thanked the public for their help.

The statement said: "Jacob Kendall, 24, who had been reported missing from the Falmouth area on Thursday 16 June, has been found safe by police.

"We would like to thank members of the public for their help."
