For one night only there will be some glitz, glamour and song coming to Cornwall with a performance from West End stars.

It will be held in aid of The ShelterBox Ukraine Crisis Appeal at The Atlantic Hotel in Newquay on Saturday, July 9.

Four of the West End’s biggest stars are coming to Cornwall to raise funds for The ShelterBox Ukraine Crisis appeal: David Habbin (Tony in West Side Story), Marissa Dunlop (Sandy in Grease), Rory Campbell (Bustopher Jones in Cats), and Lucy van Gasse (Glinda in Wicked). Tickets are available to buy now.

Organiser Mike Bearcroft said: “The devastating impact of the Ukraine crisis has been so hard to watch over the past few months - it’s been humbling to arrange this event alongside businesses all over Cornwall, who’ve pulled together to donate prizes and experiences.

"I’m so excited to bring the magic of the theatre to Cornwall with some of the best-respected stars in the industry – it promises to be the event of the year.”

ShelterBox is working with their partner Relief Aid and coordinating with trusted partners and other organisations to ensure help is given to as many people as possible. The support will provide life-saving aid for families affected by the Ukraine crisis.

Community fundraising officer at ShelterBox, Hollie Clements, said: “The number of people that have fled Ukraine, becoming refugees, has topped five million. It’s a grim milestone that does little to capture the devastating impact this conflict is having on families who, day after day, are being uprooted from their homes with little idea of when they may be able to return.

"We rely on the support of fundraisers like Mike and the team at The Cornish Spirits Company to raise the funds needed to provide the support for these families, and those in other disaster-affected countries around the world. We are looking forward to seeing the results from this exciting event.”

Tickets are priced at £74.50 per person (including the booking fee) and are available to purchase from crbo.co.uk/shelterbox

Tickets include a three-course dinner and entertainment. There will be a raffle with prestigious prizes up for grabs at the end of the night, with 100% of profits from the evening being donated to The ShelterBox Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
