The draw for the competition will take place on Friday, July 8 with the first round qualifying of the competition taking place on Saturday, August 27 and the second round qualifying taking place on Saturday, September 24.

In this year's Vase there will be no replays if the match ends in a draw, meaning if level at full time the sides will be decided by extra time and if necessary a penalty shootout.

These format changes have been made to ease some pressure on the fixture schedule and to assist clubs and leagues in meeting all fixture commitments.

The winning club from the first round qualifying will get £550 and the losing will receive £160, alternatively if a club is drawn starting at the second round qualifying a winning sum is £725 and a losing amount is £225.

The winner of the competition will receive 30,000 while the runner up is awarded with £15,000.

No Cornish side made it past the second round proper last season.
