A 24-year-old Penzance man charged with assaulting two children by touching has had his case adjourned to allow him the chance to speak to a solicitor.
Kieran Vincent, of Prospect Place, appeared via videolink from HMP Exeter at Truro Crown Court today (Tuesday, July 5) after being charged with two counts of assaulting girls under the age of 13 by touching.
The charges relate to separate incidents alleged to have happened in Causewayhead, Penzance on May 28 and at Eastern Green Beach, Penzance on May 30.
At an earlier hearing at Truro Magistrates' Court, Vincent pleaded not guilty to both charges. He appeared in court unrepresented and was told by the judge he would have to speak to a solicitor provided by the court before the case could go-ahead.
The case was adjourned until July 15 to allow Vincent, who was remanded in custody, to speak to a solicitor.
