Police in Cornwall are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an assault in Truro.
Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone who might have witnessed a serious assault outside the Railway Social Club on Station Road in Truro to get in touch with them.
The incident occurred at around 10:30pm on Saturday, July 2 and a man in his 50s has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after sustaining a head injury.
Police have asked anyone that witnessed the incident or may have any information or dashcam footage that could help the police with their enquiries to either email 101@dc.police.uk or call 101, quoting CR/058756/22.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police investigating a reported assault in Truro, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers were called to reports of a serious assault at around 10.30pm, on Saturday 2 July outside the Railway Social Club, Station Road, Truro.
"A man in his 50s sustained a head injury and remains in a serious condition in Derriford Hospital.
"If you witnessed the incident or have any information or dashcam footage that could help the police with their enquiries, please email 101@dc.police.uk or call 101, quoting CR/058756/22.
"Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling freephone 0800 555111."
