The trio of Falmouth Town and Helston Athletic and Wendron United have found out their opponents for the upcoming FA Vase.

Wendron United and Helston Athletic don't enter the competition until the second qualifying round while Falmouth Town are one of nine Cornish sides who are penned to play in the first qualifying round.

In that stage of the competition. Town will host South West Peninsula League West side AFC St Austell. Other teams from the Duchy (in bold) involved will see Godolphin Atlantic vs Barnstaple, Camelford vs Ilfracombe, Wadebridge vs Cullompton Rangers, Bovey Tracey vs Newquay, Dobwalls vs Elburton Villa, Bodmin Town vs Odd Down and Elmore vs St Blazey.

These matches will take place on Saturday, August 27.

The winning club from the first round qualifying will get £550 and the losing will receive £160, alternatively if a club is drawn starting at the second round qualifying a winning sum is £725 and a losing amount is £225.

Wendron United and Helston Athletic are scheduled to play in the second qualifying round. The Dron are penned to play away to Western League side Torpoint Athletic.

There will be a home match for Helston as they take on Saltash United at Kellaway Park. The last time the sides met in was the Cornwall Senior Cup quarter-final where the Ashes won 2-1 on the day.

Should Falmouth progress from the first round they will take on Launceston, again the match will be at home.

Other Cornish sides who will be joining the competition in the second round (in bold) are Bishops Lydeford vs Liskeard, Millbrook vs Ivybridge Town, Camelford or Ilfracombe vs Elmore or St Blazey, Callington Town vs Wadebridge Town or Cullompton Rangers, and Shepton Mallet vs Mousehole.

These matches will take place on Saturday, September 24.
