A farm shop on the Lizard Peninsula has been busy experimenting with different flavours of ice cream using its own produce and will celebrate with a taster day this Friday.

Treleague Dairy Farm Shop, in Ruan Minor, has been trying out different flavours over past few months with their own milk and double cream.

More than 30 different flavours of ice cream have now been created including traditional chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and even a special vanilla with flakes of saffron.

Bounty, Ferrero Rocher, rhubarb and custard and also Biscoff flavoured ice creams have also been made. The farm uses its own fruit in syrups, ice creams and sorbets.

Not only will the farm shop be selling their own home made ice cream, but also beach cafe Moracafe in Kennack Sands as well as Smugglers Inn fish and chip shop at The Lizard.

Judith Green, one of the family members at the farm, said: "Our milk has zero food miles, and goes straight from our cows into the bottle.

"Milk is pasteurized, our shop also makes butter and lemon posset."

This Friday between 2pm and 7pm Treleague Dairy is inviting locals and visitors to their ice cream taster day, for everyone to try a sample of some of the ice creams, give their opinions and also suggest new flavours for future creations.

Not only will there be plenty of ice cream, there will also be a barbecue and Treleague Dairy Croust Wagon food van will be serving hot food/
