Work is underway to transform a car park into a main venue for the upcoming Falmouth Week celebrations.
The marquee being erected at The Waterfront Church Street Car Park will be a host venue for many of evening events for Falmouth week which take place from Friday August 5, until Sunday, August 14.
Carnival Night, The Wurzels, Reef, Love Train, the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, Bad Manners, The Bohemians, Fleetwood Bac and lastly the 80-00's extravaganza are amongst the acts set to grace the marquee throughout the week.
The full list for the event as well as details regarding ticket prices can be found here.
Currently outdoor seating areas in the car park from neighbouring establishments such as The Grapes Pub and Indidog are still available.
There are a limited number parking spaces and on specific days throughout the week the car park and the surrounding roads may be shut due to planned events.
Other car parks in and around Falmouth such as the Quarry, the Moor, Grove Place and the Dell remain open to full capacity in the meantime.
