Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team were in for a busy evening on Monday, August 1 with two call outs in the space of a matter of hours.
The team were firstly tasked to assist in a 'person rescue' at at 7:16pm Pendennis Point.
When the Coastguard team arrived, the ambulance was already at the scene and required the help of the coastguard team to help get an unwell casualty who was stuck at height using a 'technical rope rescue'.
Following the incident the casualty was transferred to hospital.
A senior Coastal Operations Officer was in attendance as well as Devon and Cornwall Police force.
Later on in the evening the team were called out again to assist with the evacuation of a casualty from a yacht at Mylor Yacht Harbour. At 10:51pm the team helped with the movement of the person to the lifeboat station where they waited for ambulance crews
