Devon and Cornwall Police have located a man they wanted to speak to following a spate of criminal damage in Falmouth last weekend.

The force issued CCTV pictures of a man they wanted to locate after dozens of parked cars were damaged on North Parade in Falmouth on Saturday, August 6 at 9:45pm.

Now following the release of the images police have found their man and thanked the public for their help in finding who they were after.

In a statement on the morning of Friday, August 12 the force said: "A man has been identified following an appeal shared in relation to an incident of criminal damage in Falmouth.

"Thank you for your assistance in this matter."

The incident comes as police also released images of a different man they would like to speak to in connection with a separate incident in the town off Falmouth High Street.

No further details of the 'serious incident' have been given by the police which happened in the early hours between 3.25am and 3.45am on Saturday, August 6 in the area of Mulberry Passage and the High Street, Falmouth.
